Velvet Rainbows cloth dolls are made with a little magic, a pinch of pixie dust and a whole lot of love ♡☆〜

    

Established in 2013, Velvet Rainbows was created by Nicky Markou, a self taught textile artist with a background in fashion and design. Originally creating crochet plushies & simple rag dolls, her designs soon evolved into the detailed bespoke heirloom dolls now loved around the globe. Velvet Rainbows magical creations are all made in house in the Velvet Rainbows studio, based in the historic market town of Leighton Buzzard in the UK.

 

Each doll is carefully thought out and every little detail applied by hand, using only the finest materials. They are made to have their own personality and character, with a special outfit to match and are quite often matched with a special crochet friend. Velvet Rainbows celebrates uniquness, individuallity and always aims to use this philosophy in their creations.
